I have made a submission, in a personal capacity rather than in an ALRC one, to the Australian Federal Government’s call for submissions in response to the National Cultural Policy Discussion Paper.
The full submission can be downloaded here. As it is based on an Online Submission Form, I have used the required sub-headings, which may make it a bit odd to read as a paper.

My article in M/C Journal “Right to the City, Desire for the Suburb?” is now available. Some may have heard the argument before; it has been developed through the “Creative Suburbia” ARC Discovery project that has also involved Christy Collis, Mark Gibson, Emma Felton, Phil Graham, Anna Daniel and Angela Lin Huang.
